Care Advice

Cleaning

In order to keep your poster clean, you can simply use a damp cloth and gently go over the poster. Since the photo is printed on high quality paper and sealed afterwards, it will not stain and will easily be cleanable with a damp cloth. We encourage regular quick wipes across the poster to keep it clean.

Avoid using chemicals or excessively rubbing on the surface of the poster.

The remote, acrylic parts and the frame may be cleaned using non-aggressive cleaning agents (e.g. screen cleaner spray) if needed.

General Maintenance

The posters are made for indoor use only. In order to protect your product and its lifetime, please follow the below guidance:

Do not place in overly humid areas. The maximum humidity should not exceed over 80%. The quality of the paper and its gloss treatment temporarily protects the photo from humidity but constant exposure to such an environment may over time cause the wooden base to absorb the wet, despite the water-phobic treatment of the base and the photo.

Do not expose to direct sunlight or UV light. The colours of the photos may fade or change at consistent exposure to sunlight. Sunlight through glass-windows will not cause significant colour change.

Protect from heat. Sunlight through glass-windows may heat up the material of the image. Do not place over or near radiator, refrigerator or other heat emitting devices. The electronics and glue will damage over time from the heat if advice is ignored. The optimum temperature of the environment in which the poster is placed is between 0C-40C.

Avoid dropping, hitting or damaging the poster in any way. The frame of the poster will absorb (may be at the expense of the frame itself) small damage.

Keep away from open fire. The material of the image may catch on fire and cause fire to spread further. The battery variant may explode when exposed to fire.
